New Boston Bakery | Our Story
A Fall River fixture since 1992
New Boston Bakery has been a corner of Highland Village worth stopping at for over thirty years. From the first batch of the morning to the last sandwich of the afternoon, everything here is made from scratch — the old-fashioned way.
A simple promise, kept every day
When New Boston Bakery opened in Highland Village, it planted itself in the neighborhood with a simple promise: real pastry, made from scratch, every single day. More than three decades later, the same philosophy still drives everything that comes out of the kitchen.
Made the old-fashioned way
Every item in the bakery case starts from scratch — no shortcuts, no mixes. You can taste the difference in a butter horn, a cheese danish, or a chocolate raspberry streusel bar pulled fresh from the oven.
More than a pastry case
Come midday, the café opens up to homemade soups, unique salads, and gourmet sandwiches built with the choicest meats, fruits, and vegetables available. It's the kind of lunch worth sitting down for.
A place to stay a while
The four-season sunroom gives every visit a close-to-nature feeling, whether it's a crisp fall morning or the middle of January. Pull up a chair — there's no rush here.
